Kneads Bakeshop & Café in Harbor East began as the relocation and redesign of the family-owned H&S Bakery Outlet Store to the prominent corner of S Central Avenue and Fleet Street. The 17,000-square-foot building is a vivid example of a successful adaptive reuse project in a city full of potential. The project encompasses the conversion of a dormant, vacant structure into a bustling and vibrant experience comprised of a market showcasing local brands and goods, an upscale restaurant, an industrial bakery, bakelab, along with future event space for the community.
